Greenpark has announced the appointment of Caloy Sambrano as Managing Director, APAC.

Sambrano steps into the newly configured role as Greenpark seeks to accelerate its regional growth agenda, and strengthen its position at the forefront of AI-driven discovery.

Sambrano will report to Sven Lung, CEO, and will oversee Greenpark’s APAC client portfolio. He will lead the region’s new business and growth agenda around AI discoverability, creator intelligence and in-sourcing.

Regional growth agenda

Sambrano joins Greenpark from Ogilvy, Philippines, where he served as Managing Director.

Prior to his role at Ogilvy, Sambrano also held positions at Grey Philippines, Dentsu JaymeSyfu and BBDO China.

Throughout his career he has won multiple awards on creativity and effectiveness, including the Philippines’ first-ever Cannes Lions Grand Prix.

Chris Pearce, Group Managing Director at Greenpark, said:

We are absolutely delighted to welcome Caloy to Greenpark as Managing Director for APAC. He brings extensive agency experience and deep market knowledge at a pivotal moment for our business.

“As demand for AI-led discovery continues to grow, he will play a key role in accelerating our ambitions across the region and helping clients stay ahead of a rapidly evolving digital landscape.”

Sambrano said:

I’ve spent my career helping brands tell stories that shape culture. What excites me about Greenpark is the opportunity to now help brands succeed in a new era of AI-powered discovery.

“The region is moving quickly, and I’m looking forward to working with our clients and teams to help them stay ahead.”

The appointment comes as brands across APAC increasingly looking to optimise their visibility across AI-powered search and discovery platforms, creating growing demand for specialist expertise in AI-led content strategies.
