Employment 101: Guide to Government-Mandated Benefits
The second half of the workshop, led by Carla Magno, Greenpark APAC’s People & Culture Manager, provided practical insights into navigating government-mandated benefits for new employees. Carla broke down complex topics like Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG Fund (HDMF), and PhilHealth, ensuring students understood how these benefits work and support them financially and health-wise.
The session aimed to eliminate the confusion that often comes with employment benefits, helping students feel more confident as they step into their professional roles. Knowing your rights and the benefits you’re entitled to is critical to navigating early career decisions successfully.
